The listed facade of the hotel has been completely renovated. Inside, the entire hotel and the restaurants have been refurbished. Certain original, historic elements emphasize the successful harmony of modern styles vs. tradition. The rooms are cosy and some have the original timber framework running through them as well as wood flooring. Luxurious fabrics, as well as solid wood and stone have been used to complete the rooms.

The Die Stuben restaurant is made up of the Hexenstube, the Ritterstube, the Bohlenstube and the conservatory. The cuisine, offered here is prepared with mostly regional produce.In the wine cellar Winkeller 1360, you can enjoy a glass of excellent wine from a truly impressive selection of German and international wines. From Hannover:Follow the motorway A2 until the interchange 'Braunschweig-Nord'. Change to the A391 and drive until the interchange 'Braunschweig-Südwest'. Continue on the motorway A39 until the interhcange 'Braunschweig-Süd'. Then A395 towards 'Hoslar/Bad Harzburg' until the interhcange 'Vienenburg'. Exit the B6n at 'Wernigerode-Nord' (not centre).From Saxony or Nuremberg: Follow the A9 until the interchange 'Schkeuditz'.
