Therese-Malten-Villa in Pillnitz 

The Therese Malten Villa is a protected building located in the picturesque district of Kleinschachwitz, directly at the river Elbe. From our villa you enjoy a beautiful view of the Pillnitz Palace which is located opposite the river bank. The listed building impresses with its historic façade and interior with original frescos.

In addition to our served breakfast, you may also use the public kitchen to prepare your own breakfast and other meals. In the kitchen there is water and beer available for our guests (at a minimal cost) as well as Pillnitzer wine. We recommend 2 excellent restaurants, which offer a view of the Elbe in the direct vicinity of the hotel (about 120 and 200 metres). We can also arrange for food to be delivered to you from these restaurants.

Dresden is known for its sights, its cultural offers and the attraction of the area. Via tram you can reach the town centre in about half an hour. The bicycle path that is next to the house invites you to an excursion to the town of Meissen and the Saxonian Switzerland. Outdoor swimming pool, horse ranch and restaurants are in direct proximity of the hotel. Make sure you do not miss a tour on the Elbe with one of the historic paddle-steamers! However, you may also enjoy the quiet and tranquillity in our garden.

From the A17 motorway it is only 7 kilometres to the villa. Parking is free of charge; a garage is available on request (for EUR 5 per day).You enjoy excellent connections from the central train station (30 minutes) and from the airport (60 minutes) by S-Bahn and bus. The city centre is only a 500 metre' walk and a 28 minute' ride (tram) away.

We, an original Dresden family, invite you to visit Dresden and stay in the beautiful, stylish Neo Renaissance villa built for the famous opera singer Therese Malten in 1893. Four rooms and one apartment are at your disposal in this affectionately restored house.We are happy to provide a sumptuous breakfast or to organize an individual city tour for you, in order to make sure you get to know Dresden’s best sides. Spend the evening on the balcony or in the large garden, offering a beautiful view of the Elbe River and the Pillnitz Palace. In the cold season, you may want to relax by the fireplace.
