By car:...from the north (Munich, Nuremberg)While driving from the direction Munich on motorway A95, follow signs to Garmisch-Partenkirchen on which you continue until it ends. Then take the major road B2 which will take you through Oberau and the Farchant Tunnel. Go through the tunnel and immediately exit to right (direction Garmisch-Reutte). After 2 kilometres you are entering Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where you will see the hotel on its hill on the right....from the south (Innsbruck)take the Inntal motorway and at Zirl-Ost take the B177. After the former border crossing continue on the B2 past Mittenwald towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. On the B2 you then pass Klais, Gerold and Plattele. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen keep right on the Mittenwalder Strasse, pass the town on the main road (Hauptstrasse) and just before the tunnel turn right, following the signs to Garmisch/Reutte. Immediately after entering the town you will see the hotel on its hill on the right....from the West (Kempten, Lindau, Zurich)Take the A7 to Oy-Mittelberg, change onto the B310. Before Füssen turn right onzo the B314 past Reutte. Then take the B187 through Lermoos, past Ehrwald. After the former border crossing continue on the B23 past Grainau on Zugspitzstrasse through Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Shortly before leaving the town you will see the hotel on its hill on the right.
