Discover the river Mosel per boat. You can choose between regularly boat trips to Treis-Karden and Koblenz or to Beilstein and Traben-Trabach. Visit the numerous historic castles and cloisters. Some of them are situated very close to the hotel such as the Cochem 'Reichsburg', Castle 'Eltz' and Castle 'Pyrmont'.The 'Calmont-Klettersteig' - a hiking pathway guides you through Calmont, the steepest vineyard of Europe and provides a fascinating panoramic view.There are numerous bike and hiking trails so that you can discover the surroundings on foot or by bike. Eifel, the game and leisure park 'Klotten', the famous jewel city Idar-Oberstein and the racetrack 'Nürburgring' are also worth visiting. A modern water park is only 2.5 km away from our domicile.

Directions: from Cochem follow direction Trier approximately 1 km, turn right to the B 259 motorway direction Ulmen, the next turn to the right, then immediately turn left, followw the street till Wendehammer.
