Our hotel provides the ideal base for extensive walks along the river Weser or by the lake Werdersee. The "Weserradweg" cycle path lies in close proximity to the hotel.

From the main stationTake train S4 or S5 in the direction of Arsten and exit at the 6th stop Rotes Kreuz Krankenhaus. You are now in the Buntentorsteinweg. From here it is only 300 metres to the hotel on the left side of the street.From the airportTake train S6 in the direction of Universität and exit at Theater am Leibnizplatz. The Buntentorsteinweg is on your right. From here it is approximately 500 metres. It is possible to travel one more stop with train S4 in the direction of Arsten and exit at stop Rotes Kreuz Krankenhaus. From there it is 300 metres.By car from direction Hanover, Hamburg and Osnabrück- Travel from Hanover or Hamburg on motorway A1 until the Bremer Kreuz (motorway interchange) and there continue in the direction of Osnabrück- From Osnabrück travel in the direction Hamburg/Hanover and take the exit towards Arsten in the direction of the airport (Flughafen) - You are now travelling on the Arsten motorway- Follow this motorway to the entrance of the town and continue in the direction of the airport. After the town entrance follow the road, pass a bridge at the first big junction. - Follow this road, Neuenlander Straße, to the 3rd junction with traffic lights.- Turn right into the Friedrich-Ebert-Straße - Follow the road to the 3rd junction with traffic lights. You are now at the Leibnizplatz.- Turn right into Buntentorsteinweg. It is now approximately 500 metres tothe hotel on the left side of the street.

The family-run Hotel Walter lies close to the centre of Bremen. Across the river, just a 12-minute walk away (or 5-minute tram ride away), you find the heart of the Hanseatic city. Within the Old Town, the marketplace with its Roland statue, the cathedral, the medieval Schnoor district, Böttcherstraße and numerous shops await your visit.
