Dorint Maison Messmer in Baden-Baden 

The Dorint Maison Messmer has a fascinating history, at one time being the summer residence of the German Kaiser and his wife. It offers double and deluxe rooms, as well as junior suites and exclusive luxury suites. The spa area is 800m² in size, and features exclusive saunas, multi-jet showers, and a huge variety of beauty treatments and massages.The restored Belle Epoque artist’s room boasts a 7 metre ceiling and is ideal for events and parties.

The Brasserie breakfast room is open Monday to Friday, between 07:00 and 10:30, and on Saturday and Sunday, between 07:00 and 12:00.The gourmet restaurant, J.B. Messmer, offers tempting Mediterranean and French creations with a modern flair. You can enjoy this delightful cuisine whilst admiring a panoramic view of the spa gardens. Restaurant opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 18:00 until 22:00.Between 22 August and 09 September 2009, meals will be available in a marquee in the spa gardens.The Theaterkeller prepares delicious specialities from the Baden-Alsace region in an open kitchen while you look on. It is open Monday to Sunday, between 12:00 and 23:00.The Kaminbar, featuring a gallery that overlooks the foyer, not only provides refreshing drinks and cocktails throughout the day and in the evening, but regular live entertainment. Opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 11:00 until 01:00.

Head towards Centrum Congress (the congress centre), following the brown hotel-route signs. Once you reach the tunnel, keep right, still heading for the Centrum Congress. When you come out of the tunnel, keep to the left and head towards the city centre, following the signs to Stadtmitte, until you reach the pedestrian zone. Proceed along Kreuzstrasse (which is also marked as Spielstrasse), past the theatre and you will find the hotel where Werderstrasse begins.
