We supply tea and coffee, but no catering services on-site. There are numerous restaurants and cafes / bars, all within a minute or 2 walk along the sea front. Catering for every taste, you will be spoilt for choice.

A short 1-2 minute stroll from here along Paihia's picturesque waterfront will take you to Paihia's main wharf where all of the Bay of Islands fishing charters and Island cruises depart from daily. This is also where you will find Paihia's central township (Williams Rd) where you can meander through the many craft and souvenir shops, and then take a leisurely break at one of the local cafes or restaurants. Paihia offers a full range of supporting services, including banks, medical and dental facilities.You can relax and swim at the beach across the road from the Lodge while you keep an eye out for the dolphins that are sometimes seen offshore playing in the Bay. For a change of scene, you can take a leisurely 1-2 minute stroll around The Bluff to the left and you will discover that there is another wonderful large beach for you to enjoy. If you have children, there is a large children's playground located on the grassed beach reserve. This beach is also ideal for swimming and relaxing while you enjoy the scenic beauty of the Bay of Islands. For the more active and adventurous, at this location during the summer months, you can usually hire a Jet Ski or a Kayak so that you can get out on the water and enjoy!

By Car:- Driving is about 3 hours from Auckland and we are easy to find on arrival into Paihia. - Just follow the road past the wharf, and we are on the left just before the rocky bluff.By Public Transport:Coach services run from Auckland daily, and the coach terminal is just 200 metres from our front door. By Plane:You can fly to Kerikeri / Bay of Islands Airport and take a shuttle bus to Paihia. Your driver should know where we are.
