The in-house spa and a fully re-designed and extended bar, now called the Bench Cafe Bar, have recently been added to Westport Woods Hotel and Spa. Rooms are spread over just 3 floors with the lobby, restaurant, the Bench Cafe Bar and spa all conveniently located on the middle floor. Every room is en suite and well equipped for your comfort.

The restaurant is open from 18.00 to 21.00. The bar is open from 12.00 to 24.00.Breakfast is served between 08.00 and 11.00.Dinner is served between 18.00 and 21.00.Bar food is available between 12.00 and 21.00.Breakfast is EUR 12,00 and dinner EUR 25,00.

Award winning Westport is full of interesting shops, cafés and pubs. Nearby are a host of tourist and sporting attractions and activities just waiting to be discovered:- Westport House and Country Park: Ireland's top day visitor attraction, the stately home itself is open to visitors and there are a host of other attractions including a mini-train, kiddie rides and slides, swan pedalos, ghostly dungeons and a small zoo.- the hotel has it's own horse riding centre, located near Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. It is perfectly located for trekking around the foothills of Croagh Patrick and on country lanes. It specialises in beach treks lasting 2 to 4 hours at low tide on Murrisk and Bertra beaches.- Country walks: the get!together! co-ordinator will help you plan your outings and advise you on the routes. Some of the easier walks begin right at the hotel door and bring you down by the picturesque quay or along the disused railway line.Down the road are Blue Flag Beaches, Croagh Patrick and the National Museum of Country Life. By car:From Westport Town:- take the Quay Road (keep left at The Octagon, the central square with the statue)The Westport Woods Hotel & Spa is on the right-hand side about half a mile from the town.From Castlebar (this is also the road from Dublin): - take the N5 which brings you directly to Westport- as you come into town, cross the bridge and go straight up Bridge Street(one way system applies)- at the top of Bridge Street, turn right on to Shop Street- follow this road as it swings first left and then right at The Octagon(town square with a statue of St. Patrick in the centre)- stay on this road for 1.5km.The Westport Woods Hotel is on the right-hand side, before The Quay.From Leenane (this is also the road from Connemara):- take the N59 which brings you directly to Westport- at the T-junction, turn leftThe Westport Woods Hotel is about 5km on the right-hand side, before The Quay.From Ballinrobe (this is also the road from Galway):- take the N84 towards Castlebar- at Partry (c.12km), turn left on to the R330 heading towards Westport, this road brings you directly to Westport- as you come into the town stay on the same road which swings left onto Mill Street- at the end of Mill Street the road swings right on to Shop Street(there is a large clock in the middle of the road)- follow the road as it swings first left and then right at The Octagon(town square with a statue of St. Patrick in the centre)- stay on this road for 1.5km.The Westport Woods Hotel is on the right-hand side, before The Quay.
