The Residence Le Fornaci takes the name from the farm "Le Fornaci", in fact the residence once was the country property's housing place. A careful search has revealed that denomination "Le Fornaci" is due to the way the building was used in the past. In the beginning of the XIVth century the name "Le Fornaci" is still present along the way that exits from Porta San Matteo, it appears many times in documents.
