The 4-star Certosa di Maggiano Hotel proposes a unique and memorable Tuscan countryside holiday close to the city centre of Siena: only two kilomtres from the famed Piazza del Campo, one of Europe's most beautiful medieval squares. Housed in the region's oldest Carthusian monastery, the Certosa di Maggiano was built in 1314 and converted into a hotel in 1975. In 1978 it became part of the Relais & Chateaux collection of prestigious hotels.
