Moheli Laka Lodge*** is a beach resort in the middle of the magnificent National Marine Park of Moheli in Nioumachoua. You can relax and enjoy your stay in one of our bungalows, the villa or the panoramic suite. Prices for accommodation start from 60€ for two in a double room including half board. All our rooms have a private terrace and ocean view, direct access to the beach and a private bathroom. In addition, our villa has one two-room apartment as well as a separate large panoramic suite on the beach. All our rooms are within steps of the restaurant and other amenities.

Activities We go an extra mile and do our best to make your holiday an unforgettable experience. During your stay you can choose from many eco-tourism activities: whale watching with our sea worthy boat (5p), snorkelling on the sublime coral reefs, play beach volley, ping-pong, badminton, make a tour of the lagoon with one of our canoes or kayaks or traditional “laka”, go fishing or hiking in the coastal and primary rain forest, make a trip by bike or foot to the traditional villages around, or, by car, to the Giant Sea Turtle Reserve or the Livingstone Bats Reserve or simply enjoying your time on one of our private beaches and swim in the ever pleasantly warm Indian Ocean.

We can accommodate you in one of our 10 double rooms that are grouped in 5 bungalows or in a holiday villa with a two-room apartment and a large suite, each with a separate terrace and a fully equipped bathroom. The rooms are well ventilated and covered with thatched roofs. Each room is equipped with running water and electricity. For up-standard accommodation, we provide a two-room apartment in a separate villa at the edge of the beach as well as a separate large suite. All our rooms have direct access to the beach and are in walking distance of the restaurant and the “Whale Bar” that sits on the top of the peninsula and gives you the greatest panoramic views on the lagoon and the isles. All our rooms have a direct view on the Indian Ocean and the Isles of Nioumachoua. Around these isles are located the most amazing coral reefs with plenty of sea life. The Moheli Laka Lodge occupies a peninsula that offers three white sand beaches equipped with thatched umbrellas. The sea water temperature is perfect all year round and you can swim in all safety protected by the coral reefs and snorkel your way around in the most exceptional natural aquarium nature has to offer. At the end of the day you can have a relaxing walk around the area, visit the mangrove, climb the hill and sit and enjoy sunset that offers you every day again a different spectacle of colours and views.
