Description Hotel Pelirocco
Hotel Pelirocco is Brighton’s sauciest stopover. With bedrooms themed around pop subculture or provoked by visionary artists, maverick musicians and inspired individuals, Hotel Pelirocco is bound to tickle the taste buds of pleasure seekers on the hunt for something new.
Jamie Reid, Rough Trade, Nookii and Skint Records are just a handful of the faces putting a name to the 19 individually styled bedrooms. Devotees of Muhammad Ali can stay in the knock out “Ali’s Room” and dirty weekenders can put their heads down in The Pin Up Parlour dedicated to the Uks own sex siren Diana Dors. There is also a sexy boudoir dedicated to 50s bombshell Betty Page and a sumptuous “Love” room designed by Absolut Vodka.
New in January 2006 is the Durex Play Room - the ultimate “dirty weekend” suite. Dedicated to all things decadent and indulgent, think burlesque, kitsch and sexy boudoir all rolled into one. There is a 8ft circular bed, complete with overhead mirror, pole dancing facilities, a sumptuous stylish lounge area and a huge bath tub for two or more…
Extra curricular activity is to be had in the Pelirocco Bar and Restaurant:
AM – breakfast like a king on a full meat or veggie fry up, a luxury scrambled egg combo, boiled egg and soldiers or cinnamon toast.
PM - put your feet up, watch a cult movie and get tipsy with a Pelirocco cocktail or glass of hot toddy, depending on the weather!
For those who like fantasy in the bedroom there is a PlayStation console in every room - lie back, turn on and indulge!
There is also a conference room at the hotel that can hold up to 14 people – ideal for small company seminars or presentations.
Hotel Pelirocco is a feast for the eyes. Even if you get lost in the hallways looking for your room there is an ever changing photographic and art gallery provided by Brighton based creatives to keep you amused.
