Description Royal Orchid Resort
Royal Orchid Resort is found at Mae Haad beach on Koh Phangan in Thailand. The resort offers well priced budget bungalow accommodation in both aircon and fan cooling options on the beachfront. The resort overlooks Koh Ma Island which is one of the Islands most idyllic locations attracting visitors from all over the world. Royal Orchid resort offer more than 30 Thai style bungalows with prices ranging from 300 – 1,500 Baht per night. The bungalows are positioned along the shoreline, the landscaped garden and on the hillside overlooking the bay. At low tide a sand bar connects the small island of Koh Ma and Mae Haad beach allowing visitors to walk the two hundred metres across from the mainland. Mae Haad is the home of snorkelling and diving on Phangan - there is a coral reef that runs along the western shore of the Island. The Manerat elephant camp is located on the ring road close to Mae Haad offering trekking that takes in the view point and is just one of the many activities and attractions available on Koh Phangan. There are fishing trips, Thai cooking schools, boat trips around the island, an island jeep tour, Thai boxing lessons and of course diving.
