Tourist Guide Ordino
Known as the Garden of Andorra, Ordino is a town with a distinguished history. The third parish of Andorra, it is a significant cultural and economic centre.
Ordino has a population of approximately 3,200 inhabitants and is home to one of the main Andorran communities ‘El Serrat’. It is an intensely mediaeval town, with rugged stone houses and buildings which date back to the eleventh century.
The town lies in the shadow of Andorra’s two highest peaks, Estanyo (2,915m) and Casamanya (2,740m), which add to the area’s natural beauty and historic charm.
Ordino is characterized by a temperate climate, with warm summers and cold winters. The economy is supported largely by tourism. The city offers a host of activities for the tourists such as biking in the summers and skiing in the winters.
