Tourist Guide Pas de la Casa
Pas de la Casa is an urban centre and a tourist resort in the parish of Encamp in Andorra . It shares its border with France and is at an elevation of 2,408 metres; it is the highest point in Europe .
Pas de la Casa became Andorra 's first ski resort in 1957. Since then, the place has been developed essentially as a low-cost holiday resort, primarily focusing on entertainment.
Andorra 's biggest and liveliest resort, it offers its tourists a multitude of activities to suit varied interests. Snowy peaks, clear sunny weather and a duty-free status make Pas de la Casa a bustling commercial and tourist centre.
With a population of 3000 inhabitants, the place has a hotel capacity of almost thrice the number of its inhabitants.
