Haydnfestspiele is an annual musical festival hosted by the city in the honour of its famous composer Joseph Haydn. The festival is held in the later part of January and presents an ideal opportunity to truly familiarize oneself with this quaint town which fostered the genius of Haydn, Beethoven and others.
