The Hofkirche Court Church of Innsburck is a Gothic church built in the period between 1553 and 1563. It was built by Ferdinand I as a memorial to his grandfather Maximilian I. One can get to see the ornate marble tomb of Emperor Maximilian which is a great example of German Renaissance sculpture and was extended to glorify the Holy Roman Empire.
