The Golden Roof museum has a roof which is wholly covered with thousands of gilt copper roof tiles and this museum is a symbol of Innsburck city. The historic building overlooks the Herzog-Friedrichs or the main street of the old town. The windows and the porch were added in 1500 by Maximilian I. this is also a historic site and a landmark for the visitors to see while visiting Innsburck.
