The Innsburck Berg Isel Ski Jump was built in 1925. Because of the Olympic Games, this was scheduled and extended in 1964. Every year, the Bergisel Stadium plays host to the Annual Four Hills Tournaments which are held in January and also to a summer Grand Prix Jumping Event. The Ski Jump and the whole area around the stadium are newly designed in 2002 as per the plans of the London based architect Zha Hadid.
