Copper Mine Museum is also known by the name “Schaubergwerk Kupferplatte”. The mine in its heyday had employed 160 men over 30 kilometers and 134 tons of copper ore were extracted each year. last operated in 1926, the place is now a museum. In 1990, the old gallery was changed to Kupferplatte mining museum, where the visitors get to descend 500 meters by pit railway.
