Klagenfurt, also known as the city of castles, is the capital of the federal state of Carinthia in Austria.
Situated on the Glam River, it is a lively and an attractive city with a population of around 90,000 inhabitants. The uniqueness of this eight hundred-year-old town lies in the amazing confluence of traditional architecture, splendid scenic beauty and modern lifestyle.
The city is characterized by a Mediterranean climate in the summers and bright, sunny days in the winters.
