Vienna is well connected with most of the major cities of Europe and the world.
The international airport is located 11 miles southeast of Vienna at Schwechat and is the biggest in Austria.
Over 50 airlines are connected to the Vienna International Airport. It is the home of Austrian Airlines. Some budget airlines like Niki and Sky Europe also have their hub at this airport.
The airport is connected to the city centre (and vice-versa) by a direct train, which leaves every 16 minutes (both directions).
Many taxi and shuttle services are available to reach the city of Vienna from the airport.
One can reach Vienna by air in less than 3 hours from some of the important cities of Europe.
