Wiener Neustadt is a city which is located to the south of Vienna, Austria. Wiener Neustadt is a self administrated and democratic city and also an important center of the district governance of Wiener Neustadt. In the latter half of the 19th century it became an industrial town because of the opening of the Austrian Southern Railway. Also, the first official airfield was started in Austria in the mid nineteenth century in the northern part of the city. In 1996 Wiener Neustadt became a culturally emerging city which highly influenced the past histories that occurred here. The area covered by this city is around 23.5 square meters. The weather is very comfortable even if the summers are hot due to its overwhelming climate throughout the year. The average temperature ranges around 15 to 25 degrees during the daytime in major part of the year. It has both rolling hills as well as landscapes. Recently the census recorded a population of around 39700 people in this part.
