The Vogtturm Heimatmuseum presents central Zell documents of regional history of the old tower. This town museum is situated inside the Vogtturm Tower. It’s a great place to learn about the historic events of Zell Am See and its pagan traditions of the mountain regions in Salzburg. For instance, one can know about the Krampusse and Perchten wooden masks carved from wood and used in ancient fertility rites during the winter time.
