Tourist Guide Grodno
Grodno, or Hrodna city, is the third most populated city in the nation of Belarus. It is the capital of the Hrodna Raion district in the north-west and is located on the banks of the Neman River, close to the borders of Poland and Lithuania.
Grodno has a temperate climate, with hot summers and cold winters. The average summer temperatures are around 30°C, although in winter they can at time drop to as low as –4°C. The city looks beautiful during winters when it is wrapped in a thin blanket of white, so try visiting Grodno between November and March.
The population of Grodno is approximately 320, 000 people. The city is said to have preserved its heritage and culture better than most cities and towns in Belarus, and so attracts a large number of tourists who come to Grodno from the southern capital of Warsaw.
