Fritz Mayer van den Bergh and his self collected museum have a large number of beautiful works from the Age of Renaissance and the Middle Ages. These collections were brought to the city of Antwerp by him and through his efforts alone. There are paintings, tapestries, statues and even stained glass and other works of art.
