The Grote market has its own town hall and many guild houses and is a short distance away from the cathedral. It takes 3 hours to stroll around the market and shop too. The Great market or the main square is a famous attraction in the heart of the old city of Antwerp. It is also a historic walking area and a visitor center. Some of the activities at the market are tasting of beers and shopping.
