Burges’s Lodger is the impressive Poortersloge, having an impressive slender spire. It was a gathering place for the privileged burghers who used to run the town affairs. Burghers Lodge is a 15th century former meeting place of well place too of foreign merchants as well as porters. This is a historic building which is a must see while visiting Bruges.
