City Park Sebrechts has been a open space park since the 15th century. At that time, there was a vegetable garden of the Saint Elizabeth sisters. In 1885, it was bought by Louis Gilliodts-Van Severan and in 1928 it was sold to Joseph Sebrechts, who redecorated the garden. It was donated to the government ten years after his death. It opened for public in 1982 and has benches to sit and rocking horses.
