The underground lines known as the premetro have been serviced by the tramways since 1968. The Brussels Metro is a metro system which serves a large part of the Brussels in Belgium. It also consists a network which has 3 metro lines, two lines of premetro, the underground sections used by open air tramways and a few short underground tramway sections. This includes the 50 kilometers of underground network and 68 underground stations.
