There is a very special place in Brussels where beer enthusiasts and spirit savvy travelers can easily spend an exorbitant amount of time. Perhaps even lose a few days in a state of delirium. Delirium Village is located on a special no-way street in the heart of the Old Town of Brussels. It is made up of six fantastic bars and cafes that are all located within close proximity of one another.
First you should check out the Delirium Café and the Delirium Taphouse. The Taphouse offers 27 different beers on tap from all over the world that are sure to get your taste buds primed. After that, if you’re looking for some microbrews that are a distinctive and elaborate, head toward the Hoppy Loft, as it prides itself on its special tasting beers for connoisseurs.
If you’re more into spirits and cocktails, then you need look no further than The Garden, a pirate ship for rum and cocktails, and the Floris Bar, a place that specializes in absinth and rare whiskies. If you still haven’t found what you are looking for, then head toward Tequileria Delirante, a bar built like an Aztec Temple, where you can choose between 500 different types of tequila!
