Mechelen is a Dutch speaking city and even a municipality in the province of Flanders, Antwerp in Belgium. The municipality is proper Mechelen with some of its quarters in outskirts. The nearby places include the hamlets of Nekkerspoel which is adjacent and Battel which is few kilometers away. There are also nearby villages like the Walem, Leest, Muizen and Hombeek.
