Bansko is host to the traditional Jazz festivals. The Summer Jazz Festival is organized on an annual basis and features popular Bulgarian and foreign jazz singers and lots of entertainment. This festival was inaugurated in 1998 and takes place in the month of August in Bansko. On this month, there is live jazz music and people come together and enjoy this musical talent of 200 musicians from across the countries. The five days of festival turns into a musical event in Bansko.
