The highest peak in Bansko is the Vihren Mountain which is 2914 meters and 9560 feet high. A sports enthusiast can climb this peak too. This is a marble and a granite peak having numerous lakes and river springs and also a tourist goal. One can drive to the Vihren hut from Bansko and leave his car and climb the peak. There is also provision of guided professional climbers if a person wants to.
