Bansko Museum Complex is situated in a huge compound and uses ultra-modern technology to present artistic heritage and facts. The complex includes the Arts Home, the Ethnographic Exhibition, Permanent Icons Exhibition and various other memorabilia.
The church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1835, is the largest and the richest in mural paintings in the entire region.
Bansko is also emerging as a leading winter resort; the two main ski-centres of the town are Chalin Valog (low altitude) and Shiligarnika (high altitude).
Pirin Folk and the International Jazz Festival are the popular music festivals hosted by the city, which feature top international artists and attract several local as well as foreign visitors.
