Petrcane: Attractions and more...

Just south-east of the village, along the coast, is the twelfth century church of St. Bartholomew. The complex includes an enormous bell tower on the front, which was later converted into a Kulina, or residential building. Remains of murals can still be seen on some walls.

Petrcane’s Pinija Beach is listed as one of the top beaches in Croatia. Also known as Punta Radman, the beach is divided into different unmarked sections. The Nela Beach Club stretch offers volleyball, a beach gym and a bar. With its pirate tavern feel, it is popular with youngsters. Families seeking privacy flock to the Punta Skala stretch with its densely wooded peninsula. The furthest stretch, Visevica, is an unoccupied stretch of coast frequented by clothing optional swimmers.

Those in search of a night on the town are recommended to try out the Saturns club in the nearby Zaton tourist resort. Tour operators offer excursions to the nearby town of Zadar.
