Useful tips: It's a beautiful city with a beautiful sea, definitely worth visiting and staying over the summer. It's quite cheap. The old town is very pretty. The boat trips that take you along the coast are great.

The accessibility: I highly recommend it. It's a great destination if you're looking for somewhere original, it's interesting and cheap. The sea is beautiful and there's a lot of culture, both in terms of food and fun. It's very pleasant and interesting. Basically, there's something for everyone. It's really worth seeing and visiting!

Surroundings and tours: Dubrovinik is a beautiful city, the restoration of its monuments after the war was excellent: It's a city which, apart from being worth visiting for its own merits, is a practical as a base for an excursion to the famous Bay of Kotor Montenegro. I recommend going out of season: it's beautiful to walk alone around Kotor.

Not to miss: A beautiful city. Sea, city, culture, food, fun, relaxing ... all in one place. Every day there's something new to try, or if you prefer... you can do nothing at all and get lost in the breathtaking landscape.

Not to miss: Do visit the city with care, guides are particularly useful to better understand the history and architecture of this gem by the name of Ragusa, a place which conferms the link with Venice and Italy. The link is evident from the structure, buildings, churches and the city walls, from which you can overlook a beautiful welcoming bay.

Getting Around: IT'S A WONDERFUL CITY, THEREFORE EVERY CORNER HAS TO BE DISCOVERED AND SAVOURED BY FOOT, WITH COMFORTABLE AND INFORMAL CLOTHING, A BACKPACK ON YOUR SHOULDER AND LOTS OF CURIOSITY. PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY AND EVERY SHOP HAS SOMETHING NEW AND INTERESTING TO DISCOVER. IT'S A CITY YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND WITH EASE.

Surroundings and tours: If your going through Croatia, a stop in Dubrovnik is a must. The sea is beautiful and clean and the historic town is incredibly charming, the walk around the walls allows you to see the surrounding landscape. The people are very helpful and the restaurants in the old town offer excellent cuisine.

Best Period to Go: The best time to go is definitely spring or summer, it's a beautiful seaside town, the water is crystal clear and the view is just as good. Larger boats can't get into the port, which makes this town less polluted.

General opinion: My wife and I loved Dubrovnik. A walk around the walls of Dubrovnik is a must for any would be European visitor. We also found the prices quite reasonable when compared to other European cities which are generally very expensive. We found the Croatian people to be very friendly and very proud of their country and heritage. Our impression was that it was not just all about the money but still about wanting people to see their country. Refreshing attitude in a lot of ways.

Not to miss: Science and culture in the town were promoted by scientific and literary societies - academies: the Aca-demy of the Unanimous (second half of the 16th c.), the Academy of the Frivolous (founded around 1690) and other. Du-brovnik has mainta-ined its important position in the Croatian culture until today.

General opinion: Dubrovnik - the city of a unique political and cultural history (the Dubrovnik Republic, the Statute from 1272), of world-famous cultural heritage and beauty (inscribed on the List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO) - is one of the most attractive and famous cities of the Mediterranean.
Apart from its outstanding natural beauties and well-preserved cultural and historical heritage, Dubrovnik also offers high-quality visitor opportunities...
