The city of Porec is a small town with a population of around 17,000 inhabitants. The climate is extremely favorable for the travelers who hate the oppressive summer heat. The month of January is the coldest while August is considered to be the hottest month with temperatures rising up to 30° C. The heritage of the town can be seen in their museums, galleries and other historic centers. Cardo and Decumanus are the two main interesting streets in Porec. The accommodation options in the town are tremendous where the travelers can either rent an apartment, room or stay in some nearby hotel. The tourist office is at Zagrebacka located at the town center.
