The Rovinj Aquarium is a 100 year old institution which is located at the Ruder Boskovic Institute Center for Maritime Research. There are several collections of local marine life and fauna which are from the Adriatic seabed. Founded in 1891, this aquarium is known as the oldest museum and the best aquarium in Rovinj. The aquarium has the same facilities ass the Ruder Boskovic Center for Maritime Research.
