The Local name for Saint Euphemia Cathedral is Katedrala Sveti Eufenija. This cathedral dominates the Rovinji town and was built in the 18th century. It is also the largest Baroque building in Istria. The Venetian Bell tower of the cathedral itself is high and is 200 feet, which can be seen from every street in Rovinj. There is a statue of St Euphemia on top of the cathedral.
