The Paklenica National Park is situated in the Velebit Masif which offers a variety of sporting amenities and events. Velebit is known as a UNESO biological reserve that protects plants species and bird species too along with mountains. There is also an exposed chalky white rock on the barren mountain tops that contrast sharply with the green forests. The park is home to some different species of birds and wildlife like wolves and bears.
