The Croatian Museum of Architecture was opened in the year 1995. It served as an extension of the Department of Fine Arts of the Zagreb city. The museum holds a rich collection of various artistic structures.
This is the place where one can see the journey of Croatian architecture. Special emphasis is given on the material belonging to the Croatian Modernism period. The museum is located at the I. G. Kovacica 37 in Zagreb.
One can see nearly 18, 000 copies of different archival materials. These are inclusive of plans, models, drawings, slides, photographs and related text documents. Visitors can go through the text or computerized documents.
There are no permanent exhibitions in the museum. Instead of that, it holds several temporary exhibitions at regular intervals. These exhibitions are used as promotional platforms for various architects and their architectural creations. The museum remains open daily from 11 am to 6 pm.
