Tourists are advised to use the bus service of the airline. It is cheaper than the taxi service. Tourists are generally bothered by beggars on the streets. However, travellers are advised not to pay attention to them. If one of them is offered money, the others will gather around you.

Never leave your wallet, cell phone or money on the table while eating in open air restaurants. Pick pocketing occurs quite frequently.

Driving even after consuming only a small quantity of alcohol is not allowed in the city. Tourists are advised to carry the local Kuna currency with them, in case of an emergency.
