There are several sandy and stony beaches in Paphos and a few rocky coves to explore.
It is also possible to go to Coral Bay, a short distance away, which offers views of some historical sites. Various water sport activities such as snorkelling, diving, fishing, and parasailing are on offer on the beaches.
Coral bay can be accessed via bus and is popular with tourists for its sport facilities and clear, safe water.
Lara Bay is worth a visit by jeep. Here, greenback turtles can be found on the beach as can the rare monk seal.
Latchi Beach is a tiny fishing village which has a pebbled beach. There are many taverns and shops serving seafood specialties. Scuba diving is quite popular here.
