The Lobkowicz Palace is known as one of the beautiful and significant cultural sites in Europe. Originally known as the Pernstejn Palace, it was built in the mid 16th century by Czech nobleman, Jaroslav of Pernstejn. This historic building has witnessed some of the most important historical events in Bohemia. This palace forms part of the Prague Castle complex and is a highly praised addition to the list of Prague attractions. After forty years of Communist rule and 12 years seeking the restitution, the Lobkowicz family regained the ownership of their palace in 2002. One can get to see the palace and the museum through the tours which are arranged.
