Prague is a city where you can have a great night out even if you are working with a small budget. It is always recommended that you stop by a tourist center to see if you can find fun things to do with not a lot of money. Also, make sure to keep your ears open for any and all deals at the museums.
Havelska Market, Prague's number one produce and flower market, is situated on the north side of Wenceslas Square. The vendors have great prices, and are also required to be the growers of their own food. There are also several concerts, operas, and ballets that play regularly at the city’s famous theaters. The best part about this is that tickets to these performances are cheap in Prague, as they are merely a fraction of the rate they would be in other capital cities like Vienna or Paris. If you’re lucky you can find them for the Czech equivalent to $10 per ticket.
While there are several free walking tours in Prague during the day, they also have nightly counterparts. At only 200CZK (roughly €8), you can participate in a “Ghost and Beer Tour” of the city. Interested? Just ask the city’s tourism office about it!
