Malá Strana is an important district located in Prague, Czech Republic. It is one of the most historic regions of the city.
Baroque architecture predominates the district. Wallenstein Palace is a fine example of the Baroque era. The Churches located in Malá Strana are also worth visiting. The St Nicholas Church is considered as the most prominent church of the district. It is a masterpiece by Christoph Dientzenhofer and his son Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer.
The statue of the Holy Infant Jesus is another important landmark of the district. It is situated inside the famed Church of Our Lady Victorious. Another important landmark of the district is the Petrín lookout tower which is a must see for tourists in Prague.
