Frederik's Church, commonly known as the marble church, features the largest church dome in Scandinavia with a span of 31m. The dome is placed on 12 columns. The church was built in 1740 and was designed by Nicolai Eigtved, the architect. King Frederick V set the foundation stone of this church on 31st October 1740.
