One of the most significant structures in Denmark, the Round tower or the Rundetårn is a 17th century tower which is situated in central part of Copenhagen in Denmark. This historic site is known to be one of the countless architectural projects of Christian IV, built as an astronomical observatory. At present, the tower serves as an observation tower, an exhibition, a public astronomic observatory and also a concert venue and a historical monument.
