Budget Night

Copenhagen is by and large a fairly expensive city, but one can still experience it with a limited budget: we will begin with lodging with the largest design-hostel in Europe, the Danhostel Copenhagen City which is locate in the heart of the town, in H.C. Andersen Blvd 50, with its lounge bars and night clubs and a very cheap accomodation price of around 26€.
Cheaper still, at around 20€, is the Hostel Belægningen, situated in Avedørelejren, (The Camp of Avedøre), a part of the old fortification of Copenhagen, offering clean, safe and comfortable accommodation.
As far as our meals are concerned, we have plenty of options, as the city is dotted with hot dog stands where the cash strapped traveller can get sausages, burgers and fries really cheap. Also quite common are kebab and pizza joints, especially in the Nørrebro area. If you feel like sitting down at a proper restaurant, you can try the Gold Prag, Czech restaurant located in Gothersgade 39, where one main dish for around €10 will easily feed two people.
And when we are ready to go out and have a drink at night, we are spoiled for options: for a really local feel find the corner bodegas named after the street it is on. There are plenty. For drinks, cocktails and dancing we can head to Ruby in Indre By, or to the Zoo Bar. If you like to combine drinking with live DJs or concerts, Copenhagen has plenty of options: Vega has great electro and live gigs while Huset in Magstræde is a great venue for indie and rock. If you are attracted to the punk scene go to Den Grå Hal and Loppen in Christiania, while Blågårds Apotek is a pillar of the Copenhagen jazz scene.
Have fun!
